Han Nefkens Foundation and Escola Massana School promote the international projection of Catalan artists

Session with the Rijksakademie, one of the most prestigious artistic residencies, and the presentation of Apertus book, the result of the international workshop on contemporary art.

In the collaboration with Institut Ramon Llull, the event will develop skills to improve their international career.

Barcelona, ​​December 15, 2017.- Art residencies are the best option for artists who seek international projection or want to develop their career internationally. In order to bring students to the international scene and promote exchange between professionals and art students, the Han Nefkens Foundation and Massana School organize an academic day consisting of a session with the Rijksakademie and the presentation of the book from the apertus seminar.

The Rijksakademie, one of the most prestigious residences in the world based in Amsterdam, will offer an informative session to know more about the residency program in first-hand and hold a workshop for the presentation of candidacies. 

During the session we will also have the presentation of Apertus, a book about the result of the Internationl seminar/workshop on contemporary art initiative of Massana School and the Han Nefkens Foundation, held in 2016. This session, with the aim of promoting the exchange between professionals and students of the different art schools, will be led by Arash Nassiri , an Iranian artist who has collaborated several times with the Foundation,.
